This week, the Greenbelts from our Operation Spring program will conclude their training and we expect them all to graduate with flying colors on Friday. They are currently undergoing a Lean Office Kaizen at Freybe Gourmet Foods, a 165 year old company now based in Langley, where they are working hard on improving four key transactional processes.

Inspiring Speech to the Graduating Class of Harvard
An interesting article from Harvard News about speech by Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.....
Source: Harvard News
In her Commencement speech to graduating Harvard class, Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf says her Harvard graduate studies put her on the path to the success. She urged degree recipients to be fearless and to embrace their failures as they forge their paths in life.
“If your dreams do not scare you, they’re not big enough,” President Sirleaf said. “The size of your dreams must always exceed your current capacity to achieve them. … If you start off with a small dream, you may not have much left when it is fulfilled because, along the way, life will … make demands on you.”
The rest of the inspiring speech can be seen at Harvard site:

Mike Hoseus Day One
"I was inspired"
"Stimulating Session!"
"I learned so much already"
These were some of the comments from people who attended our Executive Program with Mike Hoseus. Although today was only day one of a two-day program, people took away many ideas. Mike will continue tomorrow with further insights about leadership and transformation.

Funniest Shots from Europe
Here are some of funnier photos taken during the Europe Lean program. The "space-suit" look-a-like photos taken at BMW musueum was hilarious. We were actually just listening to the sound of the engines using the supplied headsets (hanging from the ceiling).
Best Photos from Europe Lean Tour
Here are some of the best photos from our recent Europe Lean Tour. We had a blast visiting several companies and meeting some exciting people who made history. We look forward to taking another group of people in 2012. Thank you to all who participated or assisted in some way at this event.
