Greenbelt Toronto Graduation Fall 2011

We would like to send out a big congratulations to our 12 Greenbelt Toronto Fall 2011 participants who are now Lean Greenbelt Certified! This group of Greenbelts was the first group to have a Shakespearean play themed final movie. They demonstrated creativity during all 3 modules and had some excellent exam scores today which proved a true understanding of lean philosophy.

Stay tuned for their movie being posted on our YouTube channel soon and pictures posted onto our flickr.

Kyoto is always beautiful

In-House Greenbelt Module 2 Day 1

Today was day 1 of Module 2 for our Greenbelt Operations In-House program in Winnipeg. Lean Sensei coach, Bob, had the participants partake in a paper airplane simulation exercise to demonstrate lean principles such as: cycle-time, takt time, line balancing, and pull (Kanban).

The group spent the afternoon practicing their presentation skills with two impromptu exercises which built on their public speaking skills. More updates soon to come!

Japan Lean Tour Videos - Day One and Day Two

Due to some technical issues, our Japan Lean Tour videos were not created "real time" as we have done in previous trips - our apology!

We are slowly getting that sorted out and will be uploading videos from each day shortly.  Here are Day One and Day Two videos:

"Huh??"

Vancouver Greenbelt Graduation!

Today was an exciting day for our Greenbelt Operations Vancouver participants who had a wonderful graduation celebration at Terminal City Club. We would like to congratulate the group on all their hard word and dedication towards the Greenbelt program. They are all now well equipped to bring continuous lean improvements into their work environment and will motivate others to learn and do the same.

This close knit group shared lots of laughs and created their final video with the theme from the popular TV series, "The Office." It will be posted on our youtube channel shortly, so please check it out when you have a chance for your entertainment!

Each graduate received their own customized Lean Greenbelt Certificate.

Here's a photo of all 19 participants, plus Lean Sensei coach, Andrew.

Lucy was nominated as the Greenbelt grad speaker .

Chris was the other Greenbelt grad speaker nominated. Both had excellent presentations!
