Extreme Makeover!

This week the spring Blackbelts are completing their final week of their certification. The week opened with an extreme (lean) makeover at First West.

The group's mission was to achieve no less than 25% improvement. Below are photos from their report-out to stakeholders. No matter how much you've saved or how much you have improved a process, it doesn't do much if you cannot communicate it properly. Achievements are communicate to celebrate as a team and to keep the momentum for lean going.

Stay tuned for photos from the always entertaining and educational... Blackbelt presentations!

LPS - BB Report Out

The Blackbelts have their last module this week including the much anticipated Extreme Makeover Kaizen. Having a solid foundation from our Greenbelt program and having learned the ins and outs of lean application in Assessment & Strategy, Supply Chain and seeing lean in all aspects of life with the Japan trip, the Extreme Makeover in some ways is the pinnacle of Kaizens. The Blackbelts utilize Lean Sensei's Lean Problem Solving (LPS) methodology.

Here are photos from the report-out.

Blackbelt Reportout

After three days of extreme kaizen, the host company has been made over!

In the photos below the teams are using Lean Sensei provided templates to present the strategies that they have implemented. As sustainability is essential, the groups must give sound recommendations for the process owners of the host company.

Today, the Blackbelts will have their final presentations of their entire Blackbelt journey. Sponsors and other organizational stakeholders will be in attendance.

Good luck!
