In-House Greenbelt Service in San Francisco

Last week we have successfully kicked off the in-house Greenbelt program in South San Francisco. The host company is one of the world's leading biotechnology companies, with nearly 12,900 employees. There were 25 Greenbelt participants and they were all engaged and ready for their Lean journey.

That's a Wrap

Bob is on the road again, this time in Tulsa to wrap-up our first Greenbelt in this friendly city.

For the past 3 days, the 15 participants worked on 5 office transactional (information and document flow) processes affecting customers, suppliers as well as production staff.

 

Good gains in reducing waste by all teams in all processes which were well supported by the respective process owners.

Internal Lean Sensei's

This week during the Tulsa Greenbelt program, coach Jake had newly minted Blackbelt, Ruslan by his side. True to the passion and expertise one would expect from a Lean Sensei Blackbelt, Ruslan was actively engaged with the team, aiding in a successful kaizen. With Ruslan's involvement and coaching as a Blackbelt level lean practitioner, there is great promise that the transformations from the kaizens will not only be sustained but further developed- meaning of course more value for their customers.
