7:45 am Tokyo time Monday
We are departing in 45 min... counting down to kickoff. Tokyo is still quiet and peaceful at this time.
Getting ready
Here we are in the morning of our first official day in Ginza area of tokyo... some Japan Lean members decided that they want to try the traditional Japanese breakfast consisting of grilled salmon, tamago, fish cake and tofu. Super healthy way to start the morning
Japan Lean Tour participants arrive!
Although the official kickoff for the Japan Lean Tour is actually tomorrow (Monday, Tokyo time), arriving participants were so excited about being in Japan that we all ended up going out for dinner. Jetlagged but in high spiritis, Japan tour members were treated to "Western-style Japenese fusion food" to ease them gently into the more daring cuisine in the days ahead. Be sure to check back throughtout this week to see what participants with more adventurous palettes are having, to accompany that glass of Kirin.
Why Japanese don't gain weight.....
It's because they walk so much everyday!
Today I walked 13,044 steps... just a bit more than yesterday's 9216 steps. That's why Japanese don't gain any weight! Maybe we should all walk everywhere like the Japanese and we will be so much healthier.

Your decision
You cannot get through a single day without having an impact in the world around you. What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.
