Japan Trip 2016 FALL Program has started!!

Hello Tokyo... a land of amazing people and lean culture!!! The weather is very nice and warm in Tokyo. Everyone arrived in Japan safe and sound! It's going to be a busy week coming up!

Greenbelt Operations 1 Module 2

Last week, our Greenbelt Operations 1 class learned a great deal about useful Lean tools like Cycle-Time Reduction, VSM etc. In the latter half of the week, the class demonstrated how well they could apply their newly acquired knowledge by successfully completing their Kaizen.

Greenbelt Hybrid Toronto Fall (Module 2)

It was an eventful week for the Greenbelt group in Toronto as they applied their knowledge of MBTI, Value Stream Mapping and presentation skills in their Kaizen! 

We look forward to hosting the graduation for this class, good luck to all!

Blackbelt Vancouver Fall 2016 Class Module 2

The Blackbelt class has just completed their module 2. It is one of the biggest Blackbelt class ever and the team work is very good! It is such a pleasure to see them working hard to complete their projects.
 LSI team is looking forward to going to Japan with this group soon!

Greenbelt Operations-1 Kick-off

It was kick-off week for our Operations 1 team! The class got to meet their new teammates and put their heads together for some fun team-building skills and lots of new lean material. 

The teams got together to work on a specific project area over the course of 3 days and helped make significant changes. 

Greenbelt Service Module 2 at Genentech

 It was a exciting week at Genentech as participants learned new Lean principles, such as Process Time Reduction, and managed to put them into practice during their Kaizen.

Greenbelt Service Vancouver Fall 2016 Kick-off Week!

Greenbelt Service Vancouver Fall 2016 kicked off this week. Module 1 is a full week of learning with team building exercises and the introduction to the 5S system. Scroll through to see what they have been up to. 

Genentech Fall Module One Kickoff

Last week, we were introduced to a fresh new group of Greenbelt participants from Genentech! The class kicked off with an introduction to Lean and some icebreakers to warm up and promote team-building. 

After attending an intensive 2-day lecture, the participants set off to test out their newly learned knowledge in the real world by working on assigned target areas.
